Garmin GPS system is the best in the market. Some may say Tom Toms. However we are avid Garmins fans. After owning a Garmin Nuvi 1350 LMT for a few years we decide to upgrade to the Garmin Nuvi 1450.

The Garmin nuvi 1350 LMT has Unit dimensions, WxHxD: 4.8″W x 2.9″H x .6″D (12.2 x 7.5 x 1.6 cm). The Garmin nuvi 1450 LMT has larger dimensions WxHxD: 5.4″W x 3.4″H x .6″D (13.7 x 8.6 x 1.6 cm)

The 1450 has a larger display. The 1350 has 3.81″W x 2.25″H (9.7 x 5.7 cm); 4.3″ diag (10.9 cm). The 1450 has Display size: 4.4″W x 2.5″H (11.1 x 6.3 cm); 5.0″ diag (12.7 cm).

The 1350 has a battery life of about 4 hours while the 1450 battery life is shorter at 3 hours.

However 1450 wins as it has 0 routes. While the 130 has 0. In addition the 1450 has a Lane assist which will guide you to the proper lane for navigation. The 1350 does not do this. Finally the 1450 auto sorts multiple destinations and provides the best route.

For those who have a 1350 or those who are new buyers we recommend you consider the 1450 especially due to the number of routes it has and the fact that it will guide you with proper lane navigation. This can be a really gem when you are driving in multiple lane highways and or exits. Many other Gps systems will tell you to exit but will not tell you which exit lane to take.
